Impregnation

Impregnation

The impregnation of natural stones is done with special preparations. They absorb into the material by crystallizing and creating an upper protective layer, which limits the formation of stains caused by oils or water, but also significantly reduces the cost of maintaining the stone subsequently. It does not form a surface layer, but penetrates the porous structure of the stone without clogging it. This preserves the color and beauty of the stone cladding for a long time.
You will easily recognize the impregnated stone. The drops of water do not absorb into the structure of the treated stone but remain on its surface like mercury.
The impregnation of the lining prevents the formation of stains, ulcers and others.
